does anyone know where i can buy the third brake light thats located on top of the rear window?

...at the dealer..its not the bulb itself....its th whole assy. .....i open my old one and there's a bunch of little bulbs....

u c how mine has no light n its just white.i wanna replace that with the one with the light.is it possible to just swap out that part?

There's most likely a cover on the light.

My TRD spoiler came with a cover that is meant to be put over the 3rd brake light and painted to match the car.

It's held on with adhesive.



You have to have one on your car.

Do you see a little hole in the cover where there is a black hole that shoots out your wiper fluid?

If so, then you do have a cover on there. If you didn't, then you wouldn't have a bulge there.


Just pry it off.

might wanna heat it up first with a hair dryer or heat gun first though.

FYI, you don't just "pry it off", there are 2 bolts holding the light assembly from the inside, then it's kinda glued to the body and that's when you would heat it up to make it easy to take off.

I was talking about the cover on the 3rd brake light.

Like an actual cover. Not the 3rd brake light itself.

That is only held on by adhesive. Once that is off, the 3rd brake light is underneath. Then you have to unscrew that to take it off.

Yeah it needs to be wired up since you previously had the TRD Wing. The wires should be in the hatch area.
