My kit recently got painted and I wasn't sure how long I should wait before I put some zaino on there. I keep getting a range of answers from my friends. Anyone know?

Thanks
Nate

You need to wait one month before you wax it.:)

Preciate the reply. Oh, and I'm just curious, who told you to wait a month?

The body shop that painted my car told me to wait a month. My entire car had a complete colorchange done on it(the insides of the doors and everything).

The reason that you need to wait for a month is because even though the fresh paint on your car looks and feels just like the paint on the rest of your car, it is really breathing off chemical vapours. If you seal the paint with car wax, or another kind of protectant, you will seal in these vapours, which will result in a dull cloudy looking paint finish. I don't know if you can tell with your car with just the kit painted, but since my whole car was painted I could smell the fumes when I was standing next to my car for several weeks after the paint job was complete. If you get close to a peice on your car that has been painted, you may be able to detect some of the odor of the paint breathing.;)
