Does anyone know how to boost up the reception for the S2000 antenea?

Reception is really bad here in baton rouge with this rubber antenea but I like the look of it. Is there anyway to make it get more reception from it.

Don't know about there, but changing to S2000 from stock did not make a difference in reception for me.
