My buddy that will be fabricating my turbo setup had asked me if I will need a fuel return line, and I wasn't sure.

Could someone help me out here.

Thanks.

It all depends on what you plan to push, if your hp goals are high then i would plan on running a large line with a return like on our application.

I'd like to hit 300whp eventually.

At 300 whp it is not essential that you have a return fuel line on a GTS. However, if your friend is offering to custom fab one for cheap or something, then it would not hurt. But make sure that custom fabbing for cheap means a cheap price, not cheap quality.

You will, however, need high flow injectors (recommend 550-600 cc), a high flow fuel pump (recommend 165 lph) and, ideally, a Power FC.

Well, by cheap basiclly i mean price, he isn't charging me labor for anything, if so very little. I will be redoing his website.

I have the powerfc, i bought 440cc RC injectors for now (untill i build the motor) and don't have the high flow fuel pump yet, I was going to wait on that untill i build the motor aswell.

We think we are going to go with the GT3071R turbo, because it spools about 900rpm sooner then the 30r, and should spool close to the same as the 28rs but with higher power. He will also be welding a 3" full exhaust too, so well see how that works out.

btw, his site is www.neukin.com

he mostly does honda motors at the moment, it will soon change. :-)

Putting in a return line is beneficial, but it requires some fabrication on the fuel pump assembly to properly send the fuel back to the tank, which can be dangerous if not done right.
