Which is better racing seats like Sparco or the leather seats you can get with the GTS Celica?

That is purely a matter of opinion. In my opinion, the styling of the stock seats is better than the aftermarket ones like sparco. I don't like the looks of the sparco's extra support or the holes for the harness style seat belt. I mean, this is going in a street car, not a race car, so why pretend? It just looks kind of goofy to me. Of course, there are people out there who are really into auto cross racing and stuff who would benafite from the extra support and the safty of a harness.

Sparco seats are probably lighter than the stock seats. If you are going for performance, get cloth seats in you car, not leather. Leather is slippery, you will slide around during hard cornering.

I prefer the white-and-black 03-04 cloth GT seats. They're purdy.

Harnesses are for racing when using a helmet and/or roll bar/cage. Not safe for street use.

^ How is a harness not safe? If anything they seem more safe then a regular seatbelt, haha, and you won't move around as much either.

Agree with chameleon even though I still would never get rid of my leather GT-S seats. They look very sporty and hold you in like racing seats but still have a luxury feel with the leather, without the somtimes bright ricey colors and gargantuous ( I know... not a word ) logos found in racing seats.

Definetly agree with this, and especially after I Armour All the interior and seats. I about slide out of the seats making a right turn, not even counting a U-turn. :gap:
