ok, just figured i'd start another new one since the others are getting kinda long. anyways, for those interested, the shootout on the 13th has now been changed to just a practice day because the scca trailer recently got broken into and had lots of stuff stolen/destroyed. the map of the course is here: http://www.apexbenefits.biz/ABS-Practice020413.htm
i think it will be about like that first practice/tuneup day we went to. the points #3 is still on sunday too if anyone wants to go. i'm down for either one really, since i'm not going for points this season it doesnt really make a difference to me. oh, and i saw your post about a mountain run in the other thread duncan and i'm still definatley down for that. i wanna get my drifting skills down and pretend i'm in initial D :) (i think i might need a non front wheel drive car first though).

What is the silver comet bike trail? I just got home from mountain biking one of the Chicopee forest trails. I didn't realize how out of shape I had gotten since I stopped my regular mountian biking back in august. I used to go at least three times a week.

I love mountain biking I used to do it all the time, but then I got my License, The silver comet is a trail that goes from Smyrna to Rockmart, it's something like 40 miles, the stepest incline is around 20%grade which isn't bad, most of it is paved but some of it is gravel, any type of bike can go on it, I will try and find a link to their website.

Sounds cool. The longest trail up here at chicopee is about 7 miles, but it is all single track, dirt, and verry hilly. They have it set up so you can do several different combinations of the different trails to add up the miles. That place your talking about sounds similar to a place I used to ride when I lived in Marrietta.

it is suposed to be off Spring street somewhere near 41 I am not sure all I know is that it's by my office which is on windy hill about a mile away from spring street. I guess I will find out tomorrow my Dad wants to try and go in the morning well see.

Yeah Duncan, I'm going to Blake's house in an hour or so to install them. I'll have pics up tonight. :) The guy that I bought my WW lip from finally emailed me after I threatened to call the Orlando Police to pay him a visit. He said that he had a death in the family and has been in Miami for a week and wont be back to his house for a week or so. Sounds fishy about the extended time but I'll give him the benifit of the doubt. So it'll be a couple weeks I guess before I get my front lip on :(

yea, im still in for the cruise in (as long as toyota doesn't have my car, i'll try to make sure they finish the work before then if they ever even get the parts. glad you're front lip is on the way jamie, that sucks about whats been happening with it.

yea, jamie was telling us about this cruise in, i think it's at the home depot in marietta or something. and i'll be at one of the auto-x days, probably just saturday since it (hopefully) won't be as crowded and i'm not really concerned with points right now. and i can't really afford to spend $50 on racing in one weekend.

Yeah guys, it's at the Home Depot in Buford Saturday night from 5-8 or 9. It's sponsored by the GA Bandits Classic Car Club but it says "all vehicles welcome" :) I don't know exactly the way it works, I guess it's really like a local car show. It has refreshments, music, etc... Should be alot of fun.

ShaffeRSX, Black R....Of course you guys are more than welcome to come. We'll have our own little import section :) If you guys all want to meet up and drive together, let me know and we'll figure it out. Otherwise, I'll just give you directions there.

Your week sounds like the next too weeks for me, This week isn't much but starting Monday I have a final on Monday, Wednesday two prodjects due, The next wednesday I have another two prodjects due and a final, and a test on Friday but since I am going to New York on Thursday afternoon I will have to take the test on Thursday morning, then I have Finals the following week.

For the peeps coming from Rox's house, you'll just want to take 85 all the way up to Suwanee and then veer off to the left onto 985. Buford is the first exit. Take a left. Home Depot is at the bottom of the hill on the left. Mark, if we meet, then we can either drive down Holcomb Bridge towards norcross if you want to meet with the others somewhere. It's pretty easy to get to say Indian Trail and we could all meet together there so we can drive the rest of the way together. If not, we'll just shoot up 400 to Cumming and take Hwy 20 to Buford. I'd really like for all of us to meet before if possible. That would be cool.

ok, thanks for the directions jamie. glad your computer got fixed barry. i'll be glad to go wash my car with everyone else saturday but then i was thinking maybe sunday might be just as good since the saturday thing isn't anything special anymore (just a reagular practice day). i'm kinda worried about making it up there on time even if we do run in the morning, but we might could do it. if anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know, i'm still pretty much up for either day really. oh, and i got my dash back today and it looks really good. i have to take out the top part tomorrow to have it wet sanded along with rox's whole car but i'll post some pics soon (or you can see it this weekend). also toyota left me a message tonight saying to call them tomorrow so it looks like the transmisson might be here now.

If its possible I can meet you guys in buford(one of the gas stations by the exit?) and drive in together or whatever. I'm coming south so I don't really want to drive to Indian trail and then turn around and drive back to Buford. I'm also going out of town today so I won't talk to anyone again until Friday when I get back. I'll call someone when I get back and make sure we're still on for sturday. yea, rox did get her whole kit repainted but it has to be wet-sanded before its completely done. and i think i'm with duncan on sunday being better for auto-xing, i dont think i'd have enough time to wash/vaccum/maybe wax my car after saturday and still make it up there on time.
