Would a 225/45 tire fit on a 17x7 rims?

it'll fit, but you may experience slight rubbing when turning the wheel completely, but that depends on the offset as well. i know when i ran 225/50/16 on my gts rims, theyd slightly rub when turning the wheel fully in one direction, like when making a u-turn.

Got that size with Eibach Pro Kit and TRD struts on 17 x 7 OZ's. No rubbing, fits fine.
