Where the hell did you get veilside from?
That blue tint is interesting...I've never seen it b4. With the exeption of the wing, ur ride is pretty nice. However, even if you aren't into performance a CAI, would look sooo much better under that hood.

Looks really good :)
I do have just one negative opinion about what you have done. The engine plastics look like they are a pretty flat silver color. I think they would look a lot better if they were a more bright, glossy silver. It's kind of hard to tell from a picture though, I would have to see your car in real life to really make any comments...

Is your tint 37% all around or just the three windows in the back. It look like the two door has a lighter tint. Also, does your tint always look blue or only when the sun shine to it then you can see the blue color.
You car look nice, only if you have an intercooler installed. It would look badass.
It's badass. If you want to go for show, I think a hoodscoop would look good.

i noticed the front 2 windows looked lighter, i had the sunroof slide open so it made the front look lighter, but its 37% all around and it looks blue all the time
the plastics have 3 layers of clear coat on them, just hard to tell cus its a picture

Wow your ride is looking real good IMO I would start working on the interior, I just made plans with my Installer to rebuild my trunk and put a false floor in ditching the spare and putting my subs in there and mounting the amps in the floor as well all to be covered with plexi glass and have neon lights and all for show, I recomend doing something like that also if you do, Do what I am and get them to do a new carpet to cover it all so when you open your trunk you don't always show everyone what you have,

Definitely a clean car, but the rims have to go for something with a mesh design or cleaner look. jus my opinion.

Great ride, great rims. I don't like the wing but it's your choice..

Nice pics! I like thw Wing esp. house looks kewl too. I wish land was as cheap here at is is over there. We hate having to leave our cars on the road cos we havent got enough room in garage and on driveway :(

I like everything you've done including the wing. I guess maybe a CF hood now with the C-one style CF hood scoop.
IT IS FINE AS IS .... dont get a hoodscoop please it looks nice the way it is. The only thing i see i would do is to get the new kaminarii wing or rmm wing to repace that APR wing.
good luck:wiggle:

Work on the motor now, call it a day for looks, those rims look heavy as **** as it is.
All in all I like it.

I agree with some comments on leaving it alone. You don't want to go overboard. Right now it's nice and clean. Any more and it will start to look like you're trying too hard. Especially when you're not going to do any "GO" mods.
Nice ride!

If it's a show car, why's it so ugly?
I think all your mods make your car look incredibly ghetto, especially the home depot screen stuff. IMO your next project should be getting the bumper, wheels, and wing off your car.
Hey, you asked. :)

I woulda stuck with the stock wing (I think the one that's on there looks a bit ricey). Other than that your car is TITS!

thanks for the comments guys, i think after hearing the suggestions im going to probably go with painting the interior next, repainting the car itself, or a c-one style hoodscoop
REdOX - the tires are 235/45-17 i think :wiggle: if i remember right :)
but im not going to change my wing i really like it, and most of the people around here like it too, i guess you have to like aluminum wings or see it in person :)
the rims weigh 19 lbs each btw

hood scoop would look nasty and aggressive, go that route, plus its a relativly cheap mod...

I like teh fogs behind the mesh...looks nice. My suggestion would be keep the wing but have the chord painted golss black to match the body. And I like the driveway, looks sweet with the flagstones.

Car looks good, not as good as that black 240 in town though. And you need some engine work if you think you can hang with me. Nah, do the scheme you were tellin me about. It'll shut all these guys up when they see it.

get a carbon fiber hood now if your going for all show!!!
it must be the next thing you do. it will bring out the car much more.
and get the hood scoop with it.
looks good
HOW DID you do the headlights?
im going to do that now for my black.
somepreludeguy
04-09-2002, 06:57 AM
Yeah, I've seen that 240SX in town...guy must think he owns a Silvia or something, sheesh! Anyway, you're car looks great, I never get tired of seeing it around. I would definitely go with some custom colors in the interior, and maybe a custom enclosure for that million watt sub of yours. And if you get the money, I think a color change like you said would really set it off; darker colors always seem to hide a cars body lines. Later, J

to paint the headlights i took out the assembly, heated it up, and slowly pryed it apart, then i seperated the pieces, then painted the plastic cover and put it back together
its hard to tell from the pictures, but i painted the covers carbon blue, not black :)

Where did you get Veilside from
You seem like you are a senior member, and you are telling us you do not know BLITZ kit or you have never seen it????????
BTW, I would get rid of the spoiler and rims, other than that, I love the front. Blitz is one of my favorite kit besides Kam...
Go with a hood scoop
& maybe do something with the headlights or taillights.

Christ, for the amount you've dumped into it already, and what you plan on doing, if you are indeed going to do the paint job, you could have built up the motor considerably. All show and no go makes jack a chump at the light.
cdogg240
04-09-2002, 01:04 PM
Racing at a light is dangerous, people have died because of it. So maybe he isn't a chump, he could be considerate of everyones safety.
nccelica
04-09-2002, 01:54 PM
racing at a light is not only dangerous its bad for the bank, talk about what ive dumped into my car, dumping money into a lawyer and court fees is always fun too... then add in the factor of possibly wrecking my car or hurting someone else, yea i could have a really built up motor by then
my cars a show car, i could care less about speed, it just doesnt do anything for me

Tree light dumbass... I know street racing is dangerous, and I have not, nor will ever condone it.
And I mean ****, an intake at least has to help with your show car. I assume you don't open the hood at a show. But whatever man. Just my opinion, that's what you asked for. Personally, I would get rid of the Enkei Shogun knockoff's. But I like a much simpler/cleaner look. And add an intake and exhaust to compensate for the extra weight added to the car.

you should do a write up and how to for the headlights

04-11-2002, 08:51 PM
when you said chump at the light, I took it as chump at the stoplight too...so if you meant dragstrip, you should have said dragstrip! Why would he look like a chump at the dragstrip if he doesn't take it to the dragstrip, being that it's a "show car".....dumbass
