Yes, they should work but I cannot guarantee you that they won't rub in the front. Also, $1000 for HP rims? I have never heard of HP brand wheels and if they are part of the HP brand that I am thinking of, which I don't think they are but it is possible then $1000 is way too much of an asking price for them. They look nice though. Ask him if they are HP Racing Wheels or HP Design WHeels?

Edit- Nevermind they are HP Racing wheels which I would be a little cautious of getting, but it is your money. HP Racing is not known for quality products, so IMO $1000 for them even new is way too much money. Not only that these are used correct? If so, then I can get them brand new with wheels and tires for $990 shipped. He is asking $1000 for a set of them used. I don't think so...!

he said that each rim was 225 and each tire was 125

r the tires reputable?

i need to know for sure if these will not rub

If this is true then he paid Way Too Much for what he has. Nankang's are alright tires but they are not by any means a real good quality tire, at least not IMO. The wheels will fit without rubbing issues. Again though he is asking way too much. I don't care how new they are or how much he paid for them, that is way too much. Besides, you don't always get your money back out of stuff you bought even if they are only 2 weeks old, they are still used and should not be as much as a set brand new. They have been mounted, obviously from the pics so they are considered used. A lot of people won't even take rims back once they are mounted so technically they are used.

Actually I retract my previous statement on the pricing of these wheels. I can get them with tires shipped to my door for $979. Whomever this is paid way too much for them.

That is what I am saying LOL. Somebody got ripped a new one when they bought those, no offense. Ok so there you have it, you have two people that know there stuiff telling you that they wil fit and you also have 2 people saying that the asking price for these are way too high. If you want to know the place I can get them at for $979 shipped with tires then PM me. Later.

$979 shipped with tires! In any case in all honesty I would not even pay that for those, they look nice but they are made by Hp Racing and are in no way worth what they are asking, but that is my .02 cents.

Or better yet spend a little more or save up a little more then spend a little more to get a decent set of rims that will not bend at the first pothole he comes across.

I like the second ones from the top, the RS Limited rims. They are all good choices though.

Definately RH either 1 or 2! The third and fourth might be a bit too flimsy for everyday driving, but then again I live in California, land of the jacked up freeways.

I don't think any freeways in America or any streets for that matter are all that great which is sad considering we are supposed to have some of the best roads in th world. I just dread going to downtown B'ham in my Celica, especially the northside because the streets are so damn bad. Hell there are potholes here that if you were to fall into you would never get your car back out, seriously it is that bad.

i was down there for a year...i couldnt believe how perfect the roads were down there outside of the city. Its like street racing heaven. I was up around the anniston area and there was hardly ever any cops out. Had my celica up around 120-125 everyday....and it takes alot of road to get a gt up that fast...hehe So0o i did some research on it...alabama has the 3rd best overall road conditions in the US...BUT they are the worst state when it comes to education with the most drop outs and failures amoung teens. So its either good schools or good roads I guess..cant have um both

LOL yeah I agree that the roads outside of the city are pretty damn good, there are a few spots on interstates that um well I don't like to travel over LOL but overall the interstates are nice. The roads inside the city however are a different story. As far as how much road it takes to get a celi GT up to 125mph I can easily do it in under a good mile LOL. Howver, I have never tried it from a complete stop so...! The celica isn't that slow from a roll its not fast but it isn't that slow. My car has pretty good pick up from say 60 mph. Oh yeah I drive about the 100 mph+ speed everyday all teh way to school LOL so yeah it is nice.

By the way the bad education rep. that Alabama receives should not be taken literally at all. All of those test are conclusive on the testing of the public city schools and not the county as far as I know. I guess I was lucky as I went to one of the most prestigious High Schools in the Southeast and now am in college at one of the best if not the best medical schools in the country so...but yeah anyways.

Agreed. No snow = no salt that eats away at the pavement.

My intentions were not aimed towards you but how alabama spends its tax payers money. There are always exceptions and anyone can succeed in the worst conditions if they put the effort forth. I was just going by what the study says. I just dont understand some of the concepts behind alabama's politics like why your state doesnt have a lottery, or any pro sports teams(besides talladega) and things like that...that would bring money to your state to make your education system better. Were gettin off topic here but I just wanted to say I wasnt trying to dis your state. Its def beautiful down there and I meet alotta great people while I was down there.

Did you read Alabama's roads were good or did you actually drive them . After driving clear across the country , the two worst places where Memphis TN and the entire state of AL......

LOL! I didn't take offense to it man and I also ask myself the same questions about Alabama, at times. The truth of the matter is, we have tried Pro Sports teams and whatnot and they did not last long simply because there was no support for it. In reality, the politicians know that there aren't a lot of people in AL that support stuff like that, why I ahve no idea, because I am like you and figure it would help our state out tremendously. Anyways...I guess that is just politics. I will never understand why some of the politicians do some of the stupid things that they do.Originally posted by IScrewedUp

I dunno where in fact you drove or what interestates you drove on when passing through Alabama LOL but in reality our roads, at least the interstates for the most part, are pretty good. It is only when you get near some specific towns that you will come across places that are bad. Now if you take some of the back roads, county roads, etc. then yeah some of them are the worst in the world. The roads in downtown Birmingham, Al are some of the worst roads I have ever travelled on in my life and believe me I have been to almost every state in the country, aside from a few northeastern and northwestern states.
