well as some may know, i was recently in a car accident. well anyways, at the time i had a gt action packaged celica. when the repair shop goes to look under my vin number on the car, will it say action package?? im just worried they might give me the stock front bumper. do ya'll know anything about this??

They should replace it with the action package bumper. Shouldn't be a problem since it's a toyota bumper. If it was some other aftermarket bumper then i'ld worry.

The action package is a dealer installed option as I recall. It won't say anything about it when they run your VIN. It will just show the year, make, model, etc. However, that's not a problem. They will fix your car anyway back to its original config before the accident.

Btw, it's just a VIN. Saying VIN number is ignorant and redundant. Is it Vehicle Identification Number number? PIN is the same way.

You should. If not, then ask the insurance company about it. They should fix the car and have that package put back on. If someone hit your car and it dented one of the stock wheels, you'd get a replacement that matched the other 3. You wouldn't get the base wheel if you already had the upgraded set. The action package option works the same way. As long as they can still tell what the car looked like before the accident. If they're fixing it, I assume they can.
