what kind of material should be used to custom fabricate one?

do you think it would be a good idea to relocate the battery to the trunk for this?

does 4 psi sound like enough to be handled on stock internals with some tuning via SAFC?

how would i go about making it?

could a muffler shop do it?:

also are there any machien shops in houston tx where i could bore out my intake manifold?

i want to get a custom set up running....even if it is done ghetto
just so i have something to show
then i can go about replacing it.

all i have right now is an ihi rbh5 turbocharger off an mx6GT or probe GT (the turbo 4 cylinder ones)

i need a cheap intercooler...

and what kind of material shoudlthe piping be made of?

A nice cheap intercooler that I saw at a junk yard the other day was off a mazda 626 (the oder ones) that thing was nice and thick and built very solid, also try looking at the Saabs and what not they have good ones too.
The exhaust manifold you can get built at ptobably and reputable shop that does performance tuning. Here in Toronto there are quite a few shops that could do it.

see if you can find a turbo Volvo at the scrap yard, those things have really nice i/c's. Or, if you want something small, find the stock DSM one, that thing is tiny and works pretty damn good. As for boost level, I think you could probably stick in 5-6psi and iw would be ok, but testing stuff out at 4psi is a good idea, dont just jump into something and hope for the best.

a nice intercooler, actually the same one that xanatos used, is off of a mitsu starion, pretty nice setup, i was gonna try to use a turbo, and ic from one, but i didn't realize cost price :)

tubular will flow a little better, cast log style manifolds tend to crack, but all you need to do is cut lines down it to let it expand. also you can boost at least 6-7PSI with the afc, you wont feel a thing at 4psi... 4.5psi is when ou start to feel a difference..

also if i remember the RHB5 is a T3 style turbo, might be a little big for your needs.. i think the TD04H or the T25/28 hybrid would better suit you. and a ball bearing options on the T25/28 would be best. that way you would have super fast spool up, since you plan to keep the boost low..
