Denver nc.org club3g.com meet

Ok everyone, I know this should go in another forum, but nobody reads it. Some of Colorado clubbers have been talking about doing a Denver meet. I've spoken with a buddy of mine with a 3G eclipse, and club3g.com wants to do a celica/eclipse meet on memorial day. Would anyone be interested? We don't have any set ideas for time/location, so any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am in denver now, i go to DU. i was just in the springs this weekend. unfortunately my celi is in ST.Louis. Still i would like to attend.

I'll be there if I'm in town over the holiday. I'm up north in Windsor, between Fort Collins and Loveland.

Would there be a dealership around that might want to host us?

Anyone have some suggestions on how to set something like this up? We used to have a Celi owner in Colorado Springs setup some get-togethers at a Toyota dealership there, but never made it down.

right on, i'm glad we got some response. BrianT, I go to DU too, I think we've spoken before. Since it looks like there aren't that many of us, i don't know if we'll be able to get a dealership to let us meet there. But we can try, i suppose. I was personally thinking about doing it up in the mountains somewhere. I'd suggest lookout mountain, although after my last experience up there i'm a little paranoid. I think it would be nice if we could get a picture of our cars with the mountains behind us, so we can show all these cali boys what roads really are. lol. any other thoughts?

Hey all. I am My2ktoy's buddy with the Eclipse. I'm not sure that if we are planning on doing a joint meet, that going to a dealership would be such a hot idea. I don't want to go hang at a Toyota place, and I can't think of any reason why you guys would wanna come to a Mitsu place.

We haven't decided for sure on a place, time, or even which day of that weekend to do this, so any ideas would be welcomed. I think even with this last Fridays ordeal, we should try to get up in/near the mountains somewhere.

If you guys don't mind, it'd be nice to have all the responses for this meet in one thread...so either go there and chime in with your interest and ideas, or I can get them to come here...or whatever.

Heading up into the mountains sounds like a good idea. Lookout Mtn could work--good photo-ops around there. Taking Canyon in Boulder up to NCAR is also a good picture spot. Depending on how far North you want to go, Peak To Peak highway is a great drive.
