Stupid paint question for eveyone with Body Kits.
How much am I looking at spending to paint
Kaminari S.S.,
TRD Rear V.
I know, I know...call your local autobody shop, but what did you guys spend?
Need to paint in Silver.

make friend with a really good painter....i get all my sh*t done for free...my friend is an award winning painter here on the east coast....people send him show cars from all over the world to get apinted and he is amazing at what he can do....but i guess i lucked out and he does it all for me for free...hehehe....

It cost me 900$ I only accepted this price because they gave me a 3 year warranty on paint and install. If you going to install it yourself you could get it pinted for about 350-500 a good quality paint job. I did'nt go that route cuz with kaminari you need to reinforce the front bumper and the side skirts ou gotta drill into the kit and I wasnt willing to risk ****ing up my ride. I know a local shop so I paid 250 for rmm front lip, ww sides, and trd valence...but u get what u pay for...

when you say "you get what you pay for," what do you guys mean? like the paint dont match? paints faded?

you never know how many coats they'll do. how good the paint is. how well it matches. how good a clear coat it is. if its not as good as your factory paint, a year or two down the road they may fade different...

then why dont you jsut find a place that gives a life warrenty(meaning how long YOU have the car). thats what i looked for when i fixed my dent...
