i was on the highway in 3rd gear and my exit was comin and i downshifted to 2nd and the rpms shot up to 9000 and it sounded like something blew. my check engine light came on and i heard a loud tickin noise after that. after a bit the check engine light started flashing and the engine died when i was on the exit adn i popped it in neutral and rolled all the way down to the street and the engine wouldnt even turn on anymore after ward. it would but it sounded very weak. i need some advice on wut to tell toyota.
do i tell them that i was downshifting to 2nd adn the check engine light came on cause that is wut really happened. i really need toyota to replace this under warranty cause i dont have the funds to get a new engine. thx in advance!
