View Full Version : Where to get Rachet fasteners?

i was wondering if anyone know where i can get some rachet fasteners to hold up a gauge pod on the a pillar. if not, what other things can i use to keep the pod in place?

did it not come with anything? you could use 3M double sided tape. clean both surfaces very well, attach the tape to the inside of the pod, attach the pod to the a-pillar, and then put some clamps on to hold it in place until the tape takes hold

thanks for the advice! yeah it came with it, but i left the box back home, and when i came back a few weeks later from school, my mom threw it away thinking it was trash.

what is a rachet fastner? a nut? a nut-sert (collapsable sidewall so that it sandwiches a piece of plastic)?

Or you could do what I did when I had my Celica, I drilled into my A-pillar and mounted my gauge pod like that. It survived 2 break-ins.

what the hell could you have possibily needed a guage pod for in your celica???
