stupid dyke ass blonde bitch too. Apparently even though my headlights may look "cool" they are not "legal". whatever. You cant tell during the day. I'm leaving them in and getting them checked out at the police station tomorrow. I even have the packaging from bulbs that Todd put in his honda. I'm going to take them along to show that my bulbs may be "blue" but still "legal" ;)
Now I need some fog light bulbs to match my headlights. I can garuntee that is why they saw a difference.

You got pulled over for that? Ive never heard of anyone getting pulled for stuff like that, just that if you get caught speeding and the cop wants to be a d|ck they'll look for stupid crap like that. I wouldn't sweat it.

Most of those "blue" bulbs are not DOT approved though. They say they are for show only.
Pull one of them out and see if it has a D.O.T. number on it. If it does it's legal. If not, you're outta luck. Sorry. :(

I know they are not DOT approved! I bought them from Tim and I think they came from Japan! All the words on the side are in another language!
The packaging todd has says "street legal" on it.

Any schmo can write street legal on it. But without a DOT approval it's not legal.
Is is a fix-it ticket? If you change the bulbs back out will they drop the ticket? I got a ticket like that once for window tint. I took it off and they dropped the ticket. (Of course I put new tint on a couple days later . . . )

yeah, its just a fix-it ticket. No actual fine. I'll probably just put the stock bulbs back in, and then switch them back out when I get home.

you got pulled over by that blonde bull-dyke too???
when i first moved to md she pulled me over right outside my apartment...speeding ticket. also asked me "what business i had here", since i still had my old pa plates...acted like i was sellin dope or somethin'. She's vicious- and likes to act tough because she's a cop. woo-hoo. I think the manager of Taco-Bell makes more than the average Balt. Co. traffic cop. I'm still bitter- can you tell?

Her partner in crime is officer speed. They work together. Officer Speed (that is his REAL name) will catch you doing 2 mph over the limit. Watch out for them. They hunt for ricers in our area.

All changed back. Off to the police station tomorrow...
Oh yeah, and I figured out the REAL reason I got pulled over. About 4 years ago when I got my first car, my brother gave me this frog and said "this frog will keep you safe from all police officers. He will watch out for you." Well, I was cleaning the car today and found out that my frog lost one of his eyes!!! He couldn't see the cop to tell me to drive a different way!
I sewed his eye back on. I should be all good now ;)

Hey Liz, can I borrow that frog? My luck hasn't been all that great lately...

So I spend an hour yesterday changing out all my blubs and putting back in the stock ones, and I go to the police station today. The cop makes some jokes with me, signs my slip, and sends me on my way. Doesn't even go and look at my car.
I guess I know that if I did nothing, they would have checked EVERYTHING and would have given me hastle about my clearcorners or something like that.

Yeah, same deal with my window tint. I didn't take it off right away. I took it off the day before I went to the courthouse and they didn't even look at it. I shoulda left it on. But then (like you said) they'd have gone outside and seen it on there. Hmm. Lying to a judge isn't a good thing is it? So I re-tinted a couple days later.
Go spend an hour and put them back in now. ;)

I have hyper whites all around except for my headlights and fog lamps. Tim sold me bulbs for my headlamp that are all in a foreign language and are super blue/white  and my foglamps are still stock. The only bulbs I was worried about were the turn signals and the headlights, sing the turn signal bulbs are purple when not lit, otherwise they are hyper white. In Maryland, you are only allowed to have orange turn signals.

I have drove right by so many cops with my white turn signals. Makes me wonder how much they give a ****.

Really? Hmmm, I have never had any problem with my hyper turns in MD, I have gotten the evil eye from the VA cops but never did they do anything. Of course if i see a cop around i wont leave my turns on very long

Yeah, me too. I guess there are only a select few that really care. I mean, don't they have murderers and rapists to catch instead of bothering little ole me? http://www.plauder-smilies.de/angel2.gif

I got those bulbs too from Tim. I actually had to get some different ones since they didn't last long especially the headlight. I ended up getting some LEGAL DOT approved bulbs. They are Sylvania Cool Blue Bulbs (http://www.sylvania.com/auto/cool/). Check them out. They have last a lot longer and look really nice in my opinion. Haven't found a replacement for my turn signals or fog lamps but am considering PIAA stuff.
