Can't wait for my order of Phillips VisionPlus H7 (with BlueVision wedge bulbs) to arrive in about a week.
50% brighter (hopefully) will be so nice during the night drives.
$40, coming from the UK.

I hear good things about those bulbs
did you happen to get them from powerbulbs.com?

yep.
What gave the website away?
The free BlueVision wedge bulbs, or was it just saying it's from UK?
Ideally I should have ordered 2 sets (high beams use H7 also), but I want to get the E-code lights (H1 low, H7 high) in a few months

when i ordered my VPs, they had the promotion of free H3 bulbs. they were the Osram Super H3, 30% more light. then a couple weeks later they had free Osram All Season (yellowish) H3s for free. i shoulda ordered some H4 VPs for my moms car then!

I got Philips VisionPlus for my Civic when I had it. It was a 9006 or something like that but I got them at Kmart. Didn't have to order them from another country. They also have them at PepBoys if you have those near you.
Just trying to save you some money. Shipping charges suck.

From what I've heard, BlueVision is white with no blue or yellow color to it. I'm gonna try them next. BTW, anyone wanna buy a used (only two months) pair of Vision Plus bulbs plus one spare bulb for $25? :)

Yup, VisionPlus is just a slight bit whiter than stock, but still yellowish. :( You can see it when you compare it to the stock fogs.
Someone on this board has the BlueVisions, and said they were pure white. Hopefully they will be. :)

one more questiron.. do those silvervision bulbs fit our cars/? thanks

Silver Visions don't quite fit because of the rectangular prongs on the PY21W bulb.
2000 XYR: VisionPLus H7 aren't available generally in the United States, plus powerbulbs.com don't charge shipping.

Cool. Yeah PepBoys didn't have H7 but they did have several other sizes. Good deal on the shipping too.

Let me just say I put my HIDs in today, tonight I turned down my street, about 1/8 mile long or more, norm I can light up half way and see with detail there, but I flipped my brights this time, I could read the house number at the end of the street, hope I didn't wake anyone up!!!. Man they are bright, Low beams you gata get super blues to accualy tell the difference but I like these much better than the stocks, Same with the fogs you can't tell the difference unless you get a super colored bulbs, (mine are ion yellow fogs and just super whites in everything else). I have Super White High/Low beams ($45-50), Parking lights (10) and Ion Yellows were (25), Plus the turn signals are Super white they were (12) but these are all the imported japan bulbs, I get them from a local car shop that imports everything, good luck reading directions if you need them ! :) heh

I personally prefer PIAA Ion gold, they cost a little more though

seriously who cares if their headlights are pure white or yellowish white? Cuz the yellowish white ones are better for visibility and won't get you looks at night from the ricers

True, yellowish lights work better, but white light doesn't have anywhere near the poor visibility of blue light. With the MTECs (pure white), I barely even noticed a difference in visibility. It also made the reflective surfaces on signs and cop cars brighter.
I actually had a pair of the really blue bulbs at one time, and I couldn't see jack with them at night. That was a waste of money, but at least it taught me a lesson.
Who cares about ricers? I get looks from them all the time anyway. :rolleyes:Originally posted by swift 21
so which bulb is better and won't melt your wiring harnes? Anything that's 55W won't hurt anything in your car. With 70 and 80w, your taking a pretty big chance. With 100W, forget it, you're screwed. Bulbs that output blue light are the worst. White light is debatable (depends on the quality of the bulb's construction). Yellow is the best for visibility.

streetfighter, those were the visionplus H7s as stated below the picture. my friend's PIAA plat. white blew on him within 3 months, they cost over $110. But damn were they nice while they lasted. Even in daylight, they were very distinctively blue, this was H1 on a new beatle, not H7. I'm very happy with my bluevisions now, it has been over half a year, no problems what so ever. And i highly recommend it as an alternative to PIAA(because of price) or any other 100W cheap lights. These are philips, so you know you're getting quality, and its stock wattage output, so they won't burn out your lights. No shipping anywhere in the world from powerbulbs.com.
