Time to start thinking about Carlisle

It's less than 4 weeks away. Who going??? I sugest we meet up at Cross Keys again for those interested so we can have another convoy up 94 to represent the Celicas and NC.org. Larry is invited again af course even though he's driving a DSM ;). And anyone else for that matter.

I will post directions ASAP from west, south and east to meet at Cross Keys. If you do a search for "Cross Keys, PA" on mapsonus.com it points to the wrong spot. It's close though. Cross Keys is actually the intercection of RT.30 and RT. 94.

We wait from 9:30 till 10:00am. Then we head up. Takes 3 hours from Philly to get to Cross Keys. Takes about 2 from the inner harbor of Baltimore.

hmm.. I tried that link on carsatcarlisle.com and it gave the hotels but there was only one that appeared to be close at 2 miles away from the fairgrounds.. which is guess is a good distance.. Im not sure on wether or not Im going all 3days or not yet.. I only registered for Sat and Sun..

Nd4Sp: Sorry we'll be in about the same location probably. They usually have it setup close to the same every year. But we do have our own class thank GOD!!!! If your going down the PA turnpike you might as well go straight to the show. The turnpike exit for carlisle is like 3 miles away from the Carlisle fairgrounds. If you want to meet up with us anyway. Take exit 17 south (gettysburg pike) You travel on rt15(gettyburg pike) for about 10 miles then hit rt94 south(Carlisle Pike) for about 15 miles. The second redlight you encounter will be Cross Keys. You will see us in the parking lot off to the left side. In the Cross Keys diner.

Badints: Go down RT 30W for about 12 miles? or so from the York Bypass and your see us on the right. Intersection of RT30 and RT94. We'll in in the parkinglot on the corner.

We'll be driving up from VA. I'd love to meet up with all you guys before the show; but if not, we'll see you there. We're staying in Harrisburg at the Days Inn off I-81. I'm guessing it's about a 49 minute haul from the show; but I've never been to PA so I really don't know. Everything closer was booked.

anybody looking for a place to stay might want to try calling western village rv campground. here is there web site to check them out, you can also get their phone number off the site www.westernvillagervpark.com they have cabins there they rent for like 35 bucks a night. they are not very big but your gonna be at the show for most of the day anyways. i just got a cabin on tuesday so they might still have some left

by the way i don't have my celica yet but i will be getting one very soon. just have to sell my 2k ranger. anyways i look forward to checking out everybody's rides. and maybe get some good deals while i'm down there

I'll be there again all 3 days, i hope to get the car on the dyno just to see everyones head snap when the Lift kicks in with the Kazuma exhaust n' injen RD CAI, i don't care if i put down 100whp(well, a lil' more than a 100 would be nice)... this year there'll be no competition of the exhausts hehehe... this show really pisses me off... it just makes me spend more money on the car for the next year... but word on the street this maybe the final year for the show due to the higher than norm drug use, damage, and underage drinking... so please keep it clean this year...

Yeah we are very lucky to have the show this year. Hopefully it won't be as bad for drinking, fights, and disturbing the peace problems like last year. That's why I go home every night and drive back up. It's nice I only live 40 minutes away too. I go to Carlisle every week since my performance parts are manufactured there.

They put that contest in place to stop the unauthorized burnouts from years earlier. Which it did work for the most part.

Almost all of us show. All judging is done Saturday. And the awards are on Sunday around noon.

Weather report for This weekend as of Monday. Is Friday saturday and Sunday nice. Temps in the mid 60's Friday, Sat and Sun in the lower 70's. So very comfortable so far. Calling for rain Tue, Wed, Thursday this week, and Monday, tue, next week. So we could get hit if and when they change the forecast. That God I will be detailing in the garage all week. And maybe bringing it out Friday if it's nice. If not Saturday for sure.

Larry u look diff from last time i saw you... this paint is ridiculous n' have to spend almost a hour to diamond sheild it there so it looks it's best... had more fun after the show n' peggin' the rev limiter for the grandstands....hehehehe.....i'm getting fed up with this participant judging format...none of that next year...if i go there it's gonna be for in the Top Flight class...which of course, will require me to pick some more stuff up...now that the body's done... new rims and that Blitz SC kit along with a couple other lil' tricks will be there...but now i'm trying to decide if i'm gonna go to Maple Grove n' Import War in the next two weeks...

Oh yea.... the ****ing police can be thanked for ruining this years fun period...they overstepped their authority by far and would love to send a letter in with my $94 for red marker lense fine...BULL****...they ruined the show even more...it's sad what Middlesex will do for revenue.....i know it gets a lil' wild down there but come on...it's just rediculous of what the police did...park just off the fairgrounds to nail every lil' last ****ing thing they could...even if driven like a resposible person... i hate them and wish them what the truely should be rewarded....

yea i got pulled over cause i had red housing/driving lights in my headlights even though you can just barely see them if you're standing in front of the car when the headlights are on...then he remarked on the tails which were illegal because they don't have a side reflector... he was a real ****... at least pull me over for the exhaust... if you noticed at the show there was a couple cars there with glue still on the windows cause they had those light gauges on hand to test anyones tint and fined them along with making them rip it off at the spot... i wish i knew where i could complain about this...they were completely out of hand...

yea carlilsle was really fun i totally fell in love with the burgandy kaminari celicas. My car was looking really bad there i tried to clean it but then didnt see the point i just wanted a good parking spot. i need to do alot more then i can show my car. Anyone see my silver GTS with the black roll call down the side?

I was one of the one's that was there last year but this year I just didn't have the time to drive out there for the weekend. That and the car looks like crap from the winter. The whole kit needs to be repainted. And I had to get the boat cleaned and in the water for the summer. But I will be going down to HIN in AC. Just not showing. Hope to see some of you guys down there.
