One of my Naxos xenon bulbs finally blew out after having them for 1 year. I need to replace my H7's with a new pair of bulbs. Who makes the best HID looking bulbs? PIAA? Razo? Any suggestions or pictures?? Thanks.

Supposedly, Philips BlueVision are very good. They are pure white (not sure if that's considered "HID"), and actually increase nighttime visibility over stock a bit. They'll be my next, and hopefully final, set of bulbs.

are the BlueVision brighter than the VisionPlus?

Blue Bomber

No, VisionPlus claim +50% brightness, while BlueVision claim +20 or 30%. Either way, you'll never find another 55W blue tinted bulb that can put out this much light.

You didnt actually include Razo in the same sentence with PIAA, did you??? PIAA is a very high quality bulb and Razo is so rice.

Yet in a test between major brands (PIAA, Philips, Sylvania, Hella, etc.), PIAA was one of the worst in light output and beam focus. The same bulb PIAA sells is relabelled and sold by APC. And we all know what APC stands for. ;)

BlueVision isn't even close to HID. It uses a super light blue tint.

Rocket:
I had the MTEC bulbs before. They were PURE white (no blue or yellow whatsoever), and hopefully the BlueVisions will look the same. Unfortunately, the MTECs burned out after a few months. :(

swift 21:
No bulbs will damage your headlight housing or wiring as long as you stay with 55W. Some people are running 70 and 80W with no problems so far, but I wouldn't take that chance. 100W is pretty much suicide.

No, Phillips doesn't advertise the BlueVision having increased brightness.

VisionPLus: +50% brightness
Premium: +30% brightness
BlueVision: just blue

VisionPlus and BlueVision H7's only come in 55W. MTEC H7's come in 55 and 70 or 80W(?).

Top of the line, but they burn out in 4-5 months.

Yeah some of them burn out quickly but if u install them right, they would last longer.

I would recommend Razo's H7 Hyperwhite bulbs. But if ur looking for a brighter light, then go for the HID kits.

This is how RAZO looks on mine:

Thanks, I bought it at Razo Motorsports here in Cali. I would say they are much more brighter than the stock ones and I'm pretty sure they are the stock wattage, I think it's 55 wattt, I'm not sure.

U can buy them at NOPI, fizzautosports.com, shmotorsport.com, optauto.com. I think the cheapest price is around $40-60

Mine is the premium white, I think they already H7 premium white zero, I think it's the brightest but I'm not sure.

I just use a disposable rubber gloves if I install this bulbs. I guess it depends on the brand. I have my bulbs for 3 1/2 years already and the bulb hasn't burn out yet, Crosses fingers

so far razo's the best one for me...i've been through hyper industries(2sets),Piaa plasma fx(1set), Philips(1set) , then razo...i have the premium white zero bulbs and its the best i've every bought...i'll never switch again i've had these for over 6 months and no problem what so ever...lol all the sets i've been through i could of probably gotten a true HID kit...

i've got the hiper industries super plazma xenon's.......i've had them for about 4 months.....so far no problems.........they are pretty strong on the road and light it up well.....it even gives the white line markings on the road a tint of blue.....i'm pretty sure these bulbs are a little higher than stock wattage.....but so far no probs...............just don't touch the glass part of the bulb when installing.....

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

so i still have 2 questions
1) what colour is the philips bluevision?? its been said its pure white.. does that mean there is a slight tint of purple like the pic supplied by pinoyracer with the razo's up top??

2) is razo worth double the price of the bluevisions??

i can't decide!!

i'm on the same boat, i current have PIAA Xtreme White H7 and Titanium White H3 and Xtreme White turn signals and Super Plasma wedges all around, however, i had it for 4 months or so now, Xtremem White is good but the beam pattern suck big time, one is brighter than the other, the H3 is the same thing and not as white as the Xtreme White, the wedges and the turn signals are the only ones i like, i have the wedges on the license plate in the back and side markers... now i just want some decent white H7 and H3 with good pattern and decent light output, i was thinking visionplus, but that won't match my turn signals, so i'm really interested in the bluevision, especially for the price, i need some serious help here!!

If the BlueVision is like MTEC, there is not color tint to it, which is why I liked the MTEC's so much.

I also had Hiper bulbs, and they sucked big time. The beam pattern was horrible. They had the regular beam like the stock bulbs, but they also had two small ovals per side that shot up about one foot higher, shining in everyone's eyes. They were also extremely blue, so I couldn't see anything on the road.

Guess I'm gonna be the guinnea pig on this one. I'm gonna order them later today. I'll definitely take pics. I can also compare their wedge bulbs, since you get a pair for free! :)

hey blue, which pair u r going to order? visionplus or bluevision? definitely keep me/us updated with ur experience, cuz i think sooner or later my piaa will burnout :( , dun feel like wasting more money on those piaas(100/pair) just need some decent one with good pattern(u had a good point there, dun wanna be an a55 to blind ppl, i rather see the road clearer :) thanx blue

I ordered BlueVision. I have VisionPlus now, and don't see a difference in visibility, so no loss there. I'll take comparison pics with both when I get them.

I just got my BlueVisions in today. It's better than stock but I don't like them since there not as good as my Naxos that I had previous. If anyone wants to buy them let me know. I have 2 opened packages and 1 unopened. I'll post this in the for sale forum.

They look better than stock. It's whiter than stock. Not as white or blue as I wanted them to be. I will try to get pics of it in a few days. I think I will reorder Naxos again.

$40 for the 3 bulbs! Any takers?

I'm selling the 3 Philips BlueVision H7 bulbs. I got 3 of them when I bought them. I don't like them since their not as white/blue as I wanted them to be. It is better than stock and the beam pattern is the same I believe. I haven't had my stock bulbs for a year so I kinda forgot what they look like.

I will try to get pictures this weekend.
