I just installed this kit Friday night and the install went great and everything, I'm just a little suprised at the light output color. It's like a light purple, more like PINK. :wtf: Please tell me there's some break in period or something along those lines. I like when the lights have been off for a while, then you first turn it on and it's blue for a few seconds, then it turns pink/purple. No me gusta!
But I know some of you have this kit. It's also the same exact kit as the Vision, so I'm told. Does anyone share the same results???

from what I've seen on my friend's car with that kit, the color you're seeing now is pretty much where it's at.

Ben, Do you have these lights? I've heard that 40 hours thing too, and god I hope it's right. I have been keeping my lights on in the day time to break them in. Maybe it's the power of suggestion but I think I've noticed some change in the lights color, so that's cool. Can't wait.

I don't think this applies to the K2 kit... the color IS a pinkish purple. My friend has had this kit for almost a year.

you are sh!t out of luck man. i have these, but mine are Vision which is supposed to be the same 6000k. it looks like pink lemonade during the day, but at night it is more purple and doesn't look pink at all. just turn them on at night, i get compliments about them all the time, but during the day it's too embarrassing to even turn the knob :(

i love them though, i wouldn't trade them for the super whites :)
