I've decided to get my exhaust system done sooner than later. I'm looking to go 2.5" all the way with a high flow cat. What I'm looking for is a nice sounding muffler that is similar to say the TRD with no turbo. One of my friends with a Galant VR4 suggested a Borla universal which is what he's using now but his is 3". I don't want it insanely loud that you can hear it blocks away. Anyone else know of anything to what I"m looking for?

The Borla XR series race mufflers are really nice. All Magnaflow stuff is straight through. I would stick with those 2 brands if you want a straight through exhaust.

how about the apexi universal turbo moffler? I've heard good things about those. Not sure how loud it is tho.

edit: this is soceur.......I saw the prototpe for the c2 exhaust, and I must say im a bit jealous it want made after i went and got a custom one done. I think the piping is 3in though all the way. It looks very well made and I got to talk to the guy that does the work. I can assure there will be no rush job on a single exhaust because I watched hiim this morning looking over a manifold, and I asked gas what he was looking at. Gas responded with ahh hes real anal about his work, if it doesnt look good meaning he fugged up one weld he'll redo it or toss it, which we joked about being a good thing for the customer but bad for his wallet if he messes up alot...lol Oh and the guy still had 15 or so manifolds to do...if it was me id be rushing my ass off to finish hence why im not into production:)

well gas is testing one out on his car now, i was unaware of that. He kept asking me how it sounded and I was like good not to loud but aggresive thinking it was from another company.....what was i thinking, gas buy when he can make....lol anyway his exhaust is about 2.8in as the production model will be 3 in only. So far so good then on this exhaust, ill try to make some vids today.

OK we are ready with the prototype exhaust. The system is stainless steel straight 3" from the factory outlet of the Dp till the end, it has 2 silencers and offered for turbo applications.
here are the pics (sorry I made the pics home):

Any flex pipe or high flow cat?

Yeah what ^^^^ said. I think a flex pipe is a MUST and you should have an optional cat available too.....Looks good though! What is a ballpark estimate on price for that thing?

I guess I'll just put my questions in your thread to keep it on topic.
