It's replacing the 626. Looks pretty nice IMO. I read in the newspaper about how its competing with the new altima and that it going to be great performance wise. I didn't see any numbers or reviews yet, but looks wise I give it a thumbs up.

Everything looks nice, but the rear... It needs some sort of rear-valance or something... body-kits will fix that.

Not a bad looking car at all, with a few imporvements it would be really nice. BUT, lose the damn altezzas, I swear, that is the big thing now with cars....ugh!
Another new Mazda....

Rumored to be getting a 2 liter 200 hp engine. Only in Japan for now though.
How about a VW supercar?

Dull names aside, the car itself is an amusing little runabout. Developing a handy 600 bhp at 7000 rpm and maximum torque of 457 lbs ft at 5800 rpm, the new W12 can reach 62 in less than 3.5 seconds and goes on to a top speed of over 217 mph. Weighing just 1200 kg, it is of course one of the fastest sports cars in the world.
But of course, I would love to have this car too

Read article about it in local car magazine, Motor. Eninge is 2.3 litre all-alloy 4 cyclinder. Kerb weight is 1320Kg producing about 160ish HP. Expected to be release in Australia afetr Sept. 2002.
Also 3.0 litre V6 ( basicaly Ford Duratec unit) planned to go into auto units in left hand drive producing about 215 HP.
Looks prety nice IMO.
"There is much more to come, however. The engineers reckon the 6's chassis has been designed to accpet all-wheel drive, and even Mazda supremo Mark Fields reckons he'd love to do a turbo version to fit into 'zoom zoom' thing." Motor Magazine DEC 2001.

The tail lights on that Mazda looks almost the exact same as the ones on the new Lexus ES300. The car looks ok overall I think.

Those tail lights are horrible. I think there will be a big anti "altezza light" movement in a year or 2 hehe. The rest of the car looks awesome. If they put a decent turbo engine in it it would be great. 215hp is crap in that class of car now a days. Needs at east 250.
