It seems like they're meant to be broken and replaced since the only way for me to remove it is pry at it?
And then i read this
"The front passengers side plastic can be removed by depressing the center of the round black plastic pop rivets with a screw driver. Once the center pops in the rivet can be lifted out. "
But confused on how..

i just use 2 screw drivers for both sides, and lift the tab up.

There's a notch on each side that you just slip a flat screwdriver into and pry apart to unlock it. Then you can pull it out. When finished you just push it back in.
Or it sounds like it may be talking about the type you insert the screwdriver into to pop it out. Would have to go look.

exactly what i do, when you put them back in pop the center piece upwards and press it down on both sides, without pressing the black piece in, once the clip goes in, should be fairly easy, push the center downwards and it will click into position.

Push the center of the clip down about a sixteenth of an inch (you'll here a small click), and then pull up. Reset them by pushing the center the clip back up through the center till the top is about an eighth of an inch above flush.
