tyc reds or any stock tails (besides 05 action package tails) are the only tails that look non-rice imo

I like those tail lights, but I have never seen them installed and still look good. You always see this junk around the edge that looks like goop and it's usually rotten.
But if you can install them better than every set that I have seen, I think they would look good.

I disagree with everyone on this. I have these lights on my liquid silver car and I think it looks really good, definitely not rice. Hold on and I will link some pics. I also don't know about all of this, I have never seen it doen and look good BS that some people are saying. Anyways...! Here are some pics of my car from a few years back with them on and guess what? I still have them on. Oh and by the way I think the 2003 PINK, that should have been red, tail lights look like rice IMO, a lot more so than any TYC's!

By the way, as much as I like these lights on my car, I think that the red TYC's would look way better on Spectra blue than the black ones, even though both would look nice, but red would look much better IMO.

What in the hell are you talking about? Goop? I would imagine you are talking about some silicone looking stuff. I have never had any goop on any of my TYC's. I did have to put some on the back side of one once, for other reasons, but you could not see it anyways. I have no clue what you aretalkig about for there is NO goop on any of the TYC's I have seen. Now I have seen some APC BS that had crap on them but never any TYC's. Anyways...!

^^^Thanks LMAO and I didn't mean to come across rude or anything LOL, even though after rereading my post it kind of sounds that way. Um, I think it may be that you are seeing TYC's or APC lights that have been taken apart and painted or something and then resealed with new silcone, maybe, other wise I have no idea. However, I have not ever owned one set of TYC's that had any goop on them LOL and I have had 3 sets over the years, still have two. Maybe it is just a Texas thing LOL!

I actually sold my red TYC's to install the 03's. That's the beauty of this world, everyone has different tastes. If not we'd all be driving the same car. :)

N A S T Y. imo the lights i got on now are the best looking. they are the 00-02 lights that are tinted pretty dark with the reverse part left white. my cars an 03, so i have the damn pink lights, but im keeping them just in case i get a ticket i can swap em back in. but those tails u got up there look way too ricey, and so do the new celica lights

LOL apparently we all do. However, the 2003's do not look bad on lighter colored cars like white or silver because you really can't tell that they are pink looking. However, on darker cars it is a whole nother story. But yeah anyways...I don't think TYC's look like rice butthat is just me. Now the APC meatball things hell yeah, stock hell no, 2003's not really but I hate the oink and the damn chrome ball looking thing seperating that horizontal bar running through them. Like Joes said though everyone has their own opinions and I switch my car up so much it really doesn't matter. Besides don't feel bad LOL cause apparently my car is nasty looking as stated here:

lol, i know i was just playin. only reason i picked up the 03 tails was that i was tired of looking at the 02 ones and as far as quality for aftermarket tails go, no one can beat stock. the other reason was that i attract way too much attention, both good and bad, thats why i try to keep all my parts as legal as possible, ie amber corners, stock tails, CA legal exhaust/intake (trd,injen), stock ground effects. id just rather not give them more excuses to pull me over and what not.

i just got the black TYC's for my car (white). i dunno its a nice change for now, and im sure i will go back to the stocks in about 5 or 6 months, and rotate back and forth haha. i did the same thing with my mazda, had black and stocks, never could choose so i just went back and forth haha.

Same exact reason here. Tired of my 01's and tired of attracting attention from the cops, so all my bulbs are legal now. The only illegal thing left is my tint, but I'd rather drive the car off a cliff before I took those off.
