How does this system sound....?

Well when i get my car outta the shop im going to dump about 800$ into a small system.. this is what im getting let me know what you think.... Pioneer HU, 5" Screen, 2 10" Subs (dont know what kind yet) in a custom box, AMP JL (maybe) im going to have 2 15" Neons (Orange) and 2 (Orange) Strobes under the car along with the (Blue) Underbody Kit.... :) anything else you think i need??? let me know thanks alot...

Yah... 800 doesnt seem like nearly enough.... thats barely enough to cover the h/u and screen.

yea no way 8 bills will get you that, especially if you plan on getting good gauge wire.....rca cable, speaker wire and that JL amp. and your screen. maybe double that and you'd be there, unless you got hookups...

Now if you wer gonna do it without the screen , you might be just a little over your 800 goal, but with it....

I just got a pioneer hu, the new 8400, and that one's 500 bucks...I wouldn't go any lower than the 7400 which will be like 350. The screen will go anywhere from 600 to 1500 if you go with pioneer, or not much off from that from any other company.

You have a minimum of $1,000 there without looking at the amp, sub, or any of the lighting.



I just got that 8400 headunit, 2 12" pioneer subs, all my speakers, 3 pioneer 760 watt amps, and everything custom installed in boxes. I also put 8 neons and 2 strobes in the trunk (all blue to match my undercar and the rest of my stuff).
All that cost me 2500...and I didn't get a screen which would be the same price as the subs and amps combined.
