It doesnt come equipped w/ a LSD from the factory, but I believe Quaife(sp?) makes an aftermarket one.

TRD makes a clutch type LSD
Quaife and Cusco make Helical types..
and if you'd like to know the difference between the two you may conduct a search by using the button above and the keyword quaife

Or if you want more information go to www.howstuffworks.com
and search for differentials... the celica has an open differential.

only in japan, as and added option. not in the u.s., but you can add one.

Problem is that adding one requires removing the transmission and taking it apart. That's a pretty expensive job not counting the part. You need to be serious about road racing before it will be worth your time. You can pull 2.2 to 2.3 60' times with street tires and no LSD in the Celica if you practice and have good tires.

Good point Yakko. If you can roll it into teh finacing of a new car it maybe be worth it. But if you already have the car you should think about doing all your tranny work at the same time. Clutch, Flywheel and LSD. This will save you alot of money. It's expensive but not prohibitively so.
