Looking for a good brand to use for my trunk mounted battery. Also, should I run the cable inside or outside the car? I plan on using fuses at each end, so I was wondering if it would be safer for the longevity of the cable to keep it inside.

If the cable has a good outer jacket it shouldn't make a difference if you put it inside or out. But outside would be a lot easyer to run ;)

GTSJASON is just kidding... you don't need to cut the ends off.

Yea pretty much any car stereo cable will work. If you decided to run it outside the car, you could always go pick up a like 25 foot black hose, and run the wire through it to help protect from the elements alittle bit if you're worried..
