Ok. here's a n00b questionfor you. My buddy got this module that modifies the air intake temp to make it read cooler. i know this will make the car run richer, but i can't seem to remember what this causes in your engine. somebody please help!

It will foul the spark plugs, clog the cat, rough idle, probably rob you of horsepower if running too rich, and you may have to change your oil more if gas finds its way into the oil.


But, running rich is better for the engine than running lean.


And oh yeah, worse gas mileage. Duh. ;)

Some cars also run more timing advance (or more accurately, less retard) in cooler weather.
