I want to be a doctor, I want to perform surgery. I'm not dreading it in the least. I am dreading my residency, but beyond that I couldn't be more excited.

That probably holds true for a lot of professions, but I'm not in that area. My girlfriend is also exempt from that. Both our salaries are pretty much locked in, her schedule will be constant day and day out, where as I'm on call and pulling 24hr shifts. :gap:

Plus I've had my someone to go home to for 4 years now. :chuckles:

Edit: My main downside is I'll be spending my first few yearly salaries to pay off med school. :(

I'll be getting out of the Corps and returning to Orlando on May 14th, after that I should be free for a month or so... =)
