Definitely too much. Try going for a contrasting colour and giving your car a theme, if I had hust done everything in Silver/Grey then it would look nasty, with the contrasting blue it works well. I would suggest staying away from red though, that would be too much. Perhaps Orange or Yellow would be interesting, but I think I would go for two tone with white main and black detailing. A good deep gloss black would look really nice on the white.

do not paint your interior by your self.. u will regret it rest of your life.. if you wanna do it, let professionals do their job..

I think that most people could handle painting their interior themselves, it is not hard at all. The only thing you have to be sure to do is use the correct product for the job!
The reason that a lot of people end up with paint flaking off there dash isn't because they did a bad job painting it, it's because they used the wrong product or did a bad job prepping.
Dashes like our Celica have are made with molds that have silicone release agents. If you paint over it the chemicals in the paint will attack the surface of the dash, which will cause the silicone to rise to the surface. When the silicone rises to the surface, the paint will flake off. To prevent this from happening, use a water based primer before you apply the paint. This will form a barrier between the paint and the dash that will prevent the silicone that was used to release the dash from the mold in the factory from rising to the surface. Just ask your local automotive refinishing supply store for these types of products, they should be able to help you. Good luck!

KiTBatBoi - what color are you using as your theme(brake calipers, engine bay plastice, ect.)?
I know it sounds really boring, but I would reccomend that you paint your interior black with accents that are the color matched to whatever your theme color is. White is a difficult exterior color to match an interior with IMHO. I say keep it simple, paint it black. I think that if you painted the whole dash a wild color like orange or yellow, it would turn out to be a horrible eyesore. If you went with a really dark blue you would be OK and it would look good, but blue isn't a very sporty color for an interior.

celicauk the interior looks good... I'm going to have to take a few pics of mine and post them... dash and all lower panels have peen painted to match while I rapped the upper panels in blue tweed the seats are blue tweed and white leather the contrast in color's on my car make the interior really stand out and look good. As far as how you do it alot of time. I sanded allof the panels as smooth as I could get them by hand and them primered them in k200 then wet sanded all of the imperfections out before I the house of color's paint was laid on them
http://www.teradream.com/aonaz/gumby/MVC-018S.JPG I will post pics of my interior in the next few days I sill need to add the inserts in the door panels and rap the kick panels but you will get the idea from the pictures of were I am heading with it
