WTT: My 02 Headlights For 03 HID Headlights

I currently have a pair of brand new celica headlights on my car now.( paid 170 each). On the car for about 2 months. I want to trade these headlights plus extra cash for a set of 03 HID Headlights. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

why not just buy a set of HID light?

^^ Well, ima bout to get an HID kit, and i want to use the factory HID housings so i have a clean cut-off line, if i cant get the trade oh well. Worth the try, maybe ill just buy a set from toyota, and sell my originals.

That would be a lot easier than waiting for someone to trade you headlights. I would definitely suggest selling yours since they are still new and in good condition and buying the HID housings from Toyota.

remember if you get the 03+ HID housing you will need a D2S hid kit.. not hte h7

Crap! I ordered the XD 6500k kit...ok, ill wait and see. Will this XD kit work with the 03 HID housings?

if its H7, then no. you need d2s.

wait nevermind.. but yes they wont work with teh 03 HID unless you get hte d2s kit and you'll want 4100k cuz all stock HID are 4100k

goodluck buddy. i hear the going rate is in the 4 digits from toyota for the headlights. u also have to consider they have motorized aiming feature that is wired in the cabin. I think u will need to just sell ur headlights and kit and go to toyota. i doubt anyone with the hid kit is going to sell theres. The only reason i dont like them on mine is because i cant get eyelids for it but still not reason to give them up. my only other suggestion is a junkyard :( somtimes the junkyards have connecitons to others. Sorry buddy but goodluck and hope it works out.

PS. retrofitting other cars HID lenses like suggested above maybe much cheaper and easier. and then u coudl possibly use the kit you bought as well.

Hey guys. Still working out the details. Once I get everything in working order I'll have the GB up but right now we're looking at around 900-1000 for the whole setup includeing OEM ballasts and hids. May be less depending on quantity.
