The new GT map ran very lean in my car. My car seems like it wants to drink fuel. Im really trying to figure out why.

The new GT map was done with GTS injectors as we tried to make the are richer on the top rpms (over 5500) but I figured that it is just simply maxing out the stock green GT injectors. The old setup with the K4 was running fine all the way, but this bigger turbo is just make the engine eat up more fuel.

BTW it was me, c2gas now;)

Yea all cars are different and this goes to show.
Im also running GT-S injectors.
Im going next monday for my second and hopefully final tune at JE Import Performance.
James At JE said that he had experience with the C2 kit and the 1zz.(Anyone here get tuned by him?)

Not familiar with him. But maybe a customer of ours had his kit installed by him.

What you might wanna try is to change the correction factor, to rich it up. This way, the whole map changes richer instead of parts of the map.

make sure you make the factor > 1 if you make it <1 it will make the map leaner.. You probably know but just in case.

You also might want to connect the emanage and turn on real time data logging en check your injector duty cycle.. I had a similar problem where my car ran too lean and it appeared to be the injector-signal ground to the emanage, causing the emanage to read 100% cycle and not adding fuel..

Correction factor = 260<310 is like .8xxx is that what you mean? Its at 1.xxx now.

you got to have 1.3 at the end thats the right factor with that map and the gts injector

when you go to larger injectors the factor should be <1 and should make the entire map a leaner..

Now if your entire map is too lean you can make the factor > 1 and it will richen up your entire map.

When you have GTS injectors in your GT you should have something like 0.8 in there.

So in inj correction i should put 260cc/310cc which is 0.8xx?
Wheres the 130cc come from?

dont use that map with 0,8!!!! The correction factor with that map has to be 1.3. dont even think what size of injector you had, just make the end 1.3!!!! :)

Gas: please explain. I am using no factor right now which seems to work too.
Now if you enter old injectors 260, new injectors 310 than the factor becomes something like 0.8

Why is that not good? making the factor 1.3 will make it rich as hell..

there can be different ways to tune and make it rich. All I know that I have seen now that map worked nice for the GT and that is needed to have that factor. There is only 1 thing you have to know that it was measured with the wideband ;) and works fine. It doesnt matter that your map o your thoughts not right. it is just done on a different way.

okay, that's what I figured.

I read the Emanage manual and it says a factor <1 will make the entire map leaner, while >1 will make it richer..

Like you said (and I said)... whatever works :)
I don't use the factor right now, I just look at my PLX M300..
