Computer star problem

Having problems with my computer alarm
I can bang on my car and the alarm wont go off or make a warning sound. I tried to adjust my shock sensor knob it goes from 2-10 and that didnt help.

my compustar alarm used to go off everytime some one drove by with a loud exhaust. I adjusted the sensor knob and now it's better. So yeah that knob works. If you still can't get it to go off then the sensor ir probably not hooked up right.
