Can't find CAI for auto GTS

I ordered an Injen CAI and what I what they sent was a short ram intake. I ordered from these people because they offered it. Is a quality CAI made for a 2000GTS auto trans?

Injen does make a CAI that fits the auto GT-S. Sounds like they just sent you a short ram by mistake.

does the injen CAI make 2 intakes for each transmision or does the one fit both types??

injen makes one CAI it will fit both the GT and GT-S and both auto and manual trans

The other posts are right. Return your Injen for the CAI that fits the Auto. The manual can handle more pipe and needs different bends than the auot engine compartment layout. Don't get scammed on ebay with the OBX like I did. I cutomized it to fit my auto but turns out it was intended for the manual. I cut about 2" from the throttle end and about 4" from the filter end. It fits nicely up and inside the fender well now. A lot of hassle to go through to make it work. It cost $50 so I thought I'd give it a try before buying the Injen. It works great so Injen won't happen until I want one that looks sweeter. You're doing it right. DON'T GET SUCKERED ON EBAY.
