I need to take the cylinder head off and one step was to drain the coolant, what is the best way to do this, it was just DRAIN COOLANT in the manual and I wanted to know if there was an easier way than to take off the resivoir and turn it upside down and drain it like that?

I don't know the technically "correct" way, but on other cars I always just pull a radiator hose off and have a bucket ready to catch it all.

There is the drain plug on the side of the rad (drivers side) Just loosen that and put a bucket under it. Then take off the cap to the resivoir
