I like the liquid to air intercooler, but where does it mount with only two charge pipes??

It's suppose to be going sumwhere in the engine bay on the drivers-side i believe.. They should be uploading pictures of the set-up soon anyhow.

great deal! congrats
Tho i think a t3 turbo is too small for what you are trying to do.

Yeah, whatever kit I go with I'll be getting bigger injectors, but I just wasnt sure if ATR's came with it or you have to buy that fuel upgrade package they have listed on their online store.

yeah that's the way to go. Take advantage of the good deal and start building from there!
you know that Digtal Air/Fuel Ratio is useless unless you get a wideband, right?

04-29-2005, 07:30 AM
^ i didn't know that about wideband sensor... Where can i get one?
btw are u 100% sure about that
cuz look at this that is the one i got

yeah our stock sensor wont work. Search around you will see.
Best units out are the Zeitronics, the AEM UEGO, Innovate LM-1 (that's the one i have) and PLX
I would also an oil pressure gauge. You dont really need a boost gauge. The profec B displays boost.

yeah that's the sensor, but i don't think you can hook that up to your gauge. You need the whole unit, then you can use your gauge for display.

Zeitronics is the best bang for the buck

" The Oxygen/O2 sensor sends a signal to the computer for fuel calculations and by tapping into that line you can do fuel pressure/boost/nitrous tuning for maximum power" they also say that you can use your stock sensor so wtf? they dont know what they are talking about with the celica or is that out cars wont work this way? Becaues i dont want to cash out that much money for somthing i already orderd for 80.00$ :*(

as far as i know the stock sensor won't give you accurate readings (I think the readings are too slow). Try posting in the performance forum, maybe someone can clarify this better for you. There is a reason why these widebands are all $300+ they are not just a simple voltage gauge.
They also have datalogging features which is great for tuning. But the gauge you got is not a waste. You can use to display values from the units.

Hmm, that thing looks way too big to fit anywhere in the engine bay. I will be curious to see the setup!

awesome, sounds great. did they say anything about injectors? someones said in another thread that for that intercooler you'd need a seperate water setup....any truth to this?? j/w, the A+ on customer service is a great thing to hear though!!!

I didnt have the time to ask that that about the injectors cuz i already orderd the biggers ones that was the last thing on my mind.
now for the seperate water system i highly doubt that you will need one or atleast from what i know about those intercoolers. They never mentioned nothing about that but who knows... ill find out in couple of weeks
plus im getting my celica back from the shop ( old lady ran a stop) next week or lil later
MAN I FREAKIN MISS MY CAR
she is going to have christmas when i get her back... :o)

I have an AEM UEGO. It about $475 on summitracing. They same sensor they clamp onto your tailpipe when you dyno to tune, is the same type of wideband sensor + gauge you can use inside your car.

It's an automatic?
edit: Nevermind, I see you answered that already. Why don't you spend the money on swapping the tranny out to a manual, instead of getting the torque converter? Better off in the long run, IMO.
