I've been waiting to buy a new Celica for about a year. Finally got a nice Silver GTS about 2 mos ago. Last weekend, I was driving normal speed down a city street and this #$%&ing car jumps out from a side street in front of me. I hit the horn & the brakes, but it was too late. I was so pissed I started ranting and raving but quickly new this wasn't going to help.
Anyhow I go over to the car, and it's this piece of old crap with no hood, missing front end parts, and the driver says "I'm sorry!" The driver wanted an ambulance, so I called one. Clearly this accident was the other driver's fault - but I suspect they don't have insurance - bastards! What do you want to bet my insurance goes up. So my insurance goes up, I fork out the deductible from my own pocket, and my car is blemished for life. Frigging I want to go off & pound something!
