Yes. You could lose your engine otherwise. Also hurts performance, noticably.

91 is the highest we have in Denver, and it sucks coz its like 2.49 a gallon. But ya you will see noticeable performance difference if you put any less. When i was in St. Louis i would put nothing lower than 93.

In Hawaii the highest for us is a 92 or at least that's the highest i've seen, dont know about 91 or 93 . And that's nearly 2.49/gal and rising ...and I've never fill my cel with anything less either and don't intend to try anytime soon. ;)

Wow, I guess I shouldn't bitch about getting 94 for under 2.50 anymore. That really sucks for you guys.

No, if you put more than 87 in a GT, you're a fool and you and your money will soon be parted.

As said above. Premium in a GT is a waste of money. NO advantage.

Wha must really suck is getting 87 oct for the gt when gas is cheap in tx and ok. Its as low as 2.15 for 93. 87 is in the low 1.90's.

You may notice your gas mileage actually increase when you go to 87 and you'll have less unburnt fuel fouling up your emissions.
