How much for simple paint? Need estimate PLEASE

Hi,

I recently got a veilside knock off kit and it is not painted. About how much will it cost to get this painted the MOST BASIC way possible? My celica is silver. I've called a few places but they are being pretty shady and no one will give me an estimate unless I bring it in which I think is BS. Anyways, can anyone please give me an estimate? I live in cali if that makes any difference. Thanks a lot.

Dude the kit has to be seen. Some kits need work. replica kits often have pinholes, and spider cracks which need to be repaired before paint. I paid $2500 painted and installed, but it needed lots of work

Actually I have already made some modifications and fit it on myself. It took me two days but I got it all put together. I just want it painted. How much does the painting process alone cost?

By the way it is a seven layer fiberglass kit and is supposedly gel coated, but i dont know what that means.

prices for painting a kit can range from $200 to $3000. It's not about the price...it's about the quality of work. Seriously, find reputable places....THEN compare prices. If you dont have the money, please don't go to some cheap place that'll **** up the paint job and leave you hanging.
