So I got a Check engine light the other day.. took my car to the dealer and popped up codes 0440 0441 and 0446 ... all of them had to do with the evap system... each one showed up 4 times... aparently there was a vaccum hose that got unplugged towards the bottom of the engine bay. This depressurized my fuel tank (cause it said so in the little printout) and popped up a "fuel tank at atmospheric pressure" code... My question is that this is the same line that people keep aside on some of these CAI kits... wouldnt this loss of vaccum in the fuel tank eventually lead to a loss of compression in the engine chambers?? or is it yet another way to deliver a premixed air/fuel into your cylinder :) hehe....
