i just hardwired in my footwell neons the other day and they look great and work correctly with the switch i installed... but when i turn them on for the first time in a while the passenger side light doesn't turn on right away. it always turns on, and if i ever turn it on and back off its just fine... just wonderin why it would do that and how or if i can fix it. not a big deal, but it'll bug me until i fix it!

Same thing with mine, the neon sometime has to warm up before the gases excite and ignite, it always comes one a few seconds later for me. Cant fix it really..

that makes perfect sense and is exactly what i was thinkin but why wouldn't the same thing happen on the drivers side?

check your ground for that side..it might be loose. I have Cold Catholds..and the one for the passenger back seat takes time to light up as well..the only problem is that CCFLs dont have individual ground.

it happens it all my cars, the drivers side recieves more heat from the firewall on that side due to reduced insolation because of the pedals and on a manual, the clutch pedal assembly. So usually my drivers fires up a half second after flicking the switch and like 2 seconds for the passenger

i'll check the ground, then if not i'll just assume its what sickcelica said
