ok... whats the fastest anyones gone in a stock or otherwise GT? i was racing a vtec civic the other night and got mine to 128 (all stock, even wheels and tires) but there was too much traffik and i had a little too much booze in my system... im sure it woulda gone faster, though...

im not bragging... just making a statement... and, if I had it to do over again, i wouldnt have done it... sorry if I offended anyone... drunk driving sucks and i dont like it... and by the way... Ill have one month sober on Saturday...

don't worry austin...i was an idiot too! completely stock GT was at 130 and still climbing but then someone was in the road up ahead so I slowed my ass down...

When I first got my GT I was crazy and was always driving too fast I was racing another stock GT on the highway we got to 133 and then I was at my exit it still had power but getting very close to redline. BTW I don't drive that fast anymore I like my car and don't take chances like that with it ne more

Yah, i've had it to 137 or so (spedometer was probably off by a lot). But thats with intake and exhaust. Before those two mods, I couldnt get above 125.

I hit 132-ish mph racing an Integra. I was completely stock except for the removed butterfly valve. Then i started drifting across three lanes of traffic around a curve and decided it was in the best intrest of my car to slow down.

I got mine up to 128- 129. Don't know if it would have gone faster. I love to drive fast, but at that speed it's a little risky

I've driven 218 km/h = 135,4 mph with the only modification: a K&N filter.

Mine hit 140 on a mad sownhill with my friend in the car. I also hit like 142 on the way to Ohio one time. Hit the rev limiter in 5th gear, BOOOOOOOO! FYI, there was no traffic, both were done on a sunday night at about 2 AM.

are these 5-spds or autos? whats highest on auto?

i live in LA... only managed 100.... too much traffic.... i didnt even realize i went up that high tho.... too busy trying to stay in my lane... forgot foot was on gas pedal :burnout:

Got mine upto 120 but that is a car under 3k miles on it. That is the only time I went over 100 mph. The car is stock.

Got my GT 5speed up to 110mph on I-75 today... There was a bit of wind blowin across the road and it seemed like things were gettin a little loose so I let up... Scared the Shiznit outta me lol

well i usually do about 90-120 everyday driven but once and a while when i fell froggy i go up to 140ish. fastests ever was downhill (ya i cheated) doin about 140somethin on the merit in CT.

Fastest GT would be European GT with 6 speed manual tranny. I believe a guy in Spain got it to go 150mph and he hit limiter, he wanted to take that governor off his car so I suggested power-FC when it comes out.

I've had my auto GT up to 128 on an uphill racing a lancer. And I 've had it to 137 on the downhill.
Then It only had a short ram on it.

Not tryin to brag, but i got to 138 when it was stock. It takes alike a minute per 1mph from 135, well maybe not that long but hella long time.

are 02 GT slower than the previous GT manuals? I can only get mine to like 130. I was racing some SI on the I-10 on the way to Palm Springs. I was nearly close to redline already...

I took mine upto 130 two days ago chasing a jetta 1.8t that was a fun drive to college. Did I mention it was really foggy. :gap:

my celica is able to hit warp speed, once I floored it and it pulled me through my seat. It sucked i had to buy a new seat. Just joking i hit 128 before :)

Hit 132 with pedal to the metal no more increasing. This was stock. After mods, I got it up to 135. Damn limiters, I still had some RPMs left too.

I've Had My Stock Auto GT 00' Up To About 125 Then It Took Way To Long To Hit 126 And Way To Much Risk To Myself And Other Drivers To Keep It Pulling.

WTF I like to go out and get my party on. **** it if i get a little tipsy and have to drive my celly home a little tipsy and if i get to racing then cool. As long as I'm not too ****ed up. If I drop 26k on a sports car like a celly then I will do what I damm well please with it. Even if the means going 128 miles an hour. Stop hating and start participating people
