hey, i was wondering if anyone has these set of 4 bars made by megan racing?

http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/13790untitled-med.JPG

I know what the top and bottom bars are, and one of the one's in the middle is the 2point rear strut bar, what is the last bar.

its a pretty cheap price on ebay around 110shipped. anybody use these, have any input?

Thanks,
Matt.

They're not very strong, and the bottom two bars do nothing but look :bling: .

The 3rd bar down is supposed to be a front lower tie brace. It mounts to the same spot as the Tanabe and doesn't really do much if anything. And that is only if you get one of the bars with redesigned brackets, as last I heard it wouldn't even mount up because the bracket was too small to allow the bolt to pass through.

As for the rest of the bars, I am sure everyone will tell you they are weak. My little brother has some Megan bars on his Civic and they are not bad though. You still would be better off to save and get some better bars though. I debated about them for a while because of their cheap price but now I am glad I saved for something better.

I did get the Megan lower tie brace though just for heck of it. To its credit, it is a pretty solid peice. To test it I set it on the ground and put all my wieght right in the middle of it, (175 lbs) and it didn't bend/flex really at all. However it becomes appearant when you go to install it that it doesn't really do anything becuase the place it attaches to is already really strong as it is.

yes i made the mistake....the rear does absolutely nothing...the front doesnt do anything and the rear is as flimsy as my di ck when looking at a picture of rosie odonald...the front brace however is pretty good IMO, its not as stiff as rmm but its still stiff and good for the price (so i dont recomend getting any of them but if you are on a really tight budget get the front one...also if you get it from ebstores.us the shipping and handling is much cheaper)

The front strut bar is decent for the price. What is it, 40 shipped from ebay? If your on a budget I would just get the front. If not get the APR or RMM bar.

Don't bother getting those bars. I have the whole set and I wish I didn't get them. I threw out the 2pt rear strut bar and got myself a TRD 3pt and it's like night and day. Also with the front underbrace you're gonna have to grind down the washers on your nuts so it fits in the mounts. Also, the underbrace itself sits about an inch lower than the rest of the car so you'll be bottoming out on it like I do sometimes.

Well I've had the APR RMM n TANABE front strut bars and now I put the Megan and I must say of all 4....I found no difference. So in essence, though I thnk the rest of Megan products are crap, the $36shipped I paid for the front strut appears to be doin the job.

i have the rear upper bar...they're not much to look at, then again, it wouldn't do you any good unless your car is lower and have sway bars. i sold my TRD rear upper and got the megan 2 point because it's easy to take off when i need the trunk space...
