1st i would like to start this out saying, i am in fact, a dumba$s.

there is a support on the rear suspension that a bolt runs through. now there is the head on the left side, nut on the right (its real big prolly close to an inch possibly 7/8) the rest of the bolt sticks out and then there is a 2nd nut on the end of that. on both sides of this bolt there is a circlular shaped piece of metal welded onto the head and large nut. this whole "contraption" is located towards the bottom right side (driver side rear).

well i was the moron who tried to take thsi bolt out. yeah it doesnt need to come out. so i ended up twisting the welded metal brackets around. it was fairly loose, but i tried to tighten it up.

when i drive there is a loud clunking noise (metal hitting metal) over EVERY bump. even small worthless bumps. im not sure what to do... if pictures are required i will take some when i get home from work, thanks guys, this is annoying as all hell.

i was lookin at it guys and i think this may be the problem... not enough clearence between the exhaust pipe.... 1st and 3rd pic looks like its touching but its not, 2nd pic shows actual distance.

hasnt anyone else ran into this problem, i have a GReddy axle-back??

sorry for the HUGE pics but i needed to show detail.

AH! I can not see pics but from the discription (Bolt near bottom with 2 nuts on it) it sounds like you tried to remove the bolts that adjust your rear camber!

Was this the one?

If so... you will probably have to take it down to get a realignment.

it was that one... but im not sure if thats the problem. yes, maybe i did through the camber off a little but the exhaust pipe is hitting that arm when i hit any slight bump??

um... i use http://www.imageshack.ws/ to host pics... can anyone else see them? i can.

if you gimme your email i would be more than happy to send you the pics!

Not sure if anyone else could see the pics before, but I fixed the links so at least I can now. Ok that explains it much better. You may be able to bend some of the hangers so that the exhaust hangs a little lower and see if that solves the problem.

I always wondered how that exhaust cleared the suspension.

lol sweet! cause it doesnt clear! how are other axle-backs setup so they dont hit? or do they? i think im gonna create some sort of small rubber block to put on the suspension just so it doesnt make so much damn noise.

Other axle backs are routed straight underneath the middle of the crossmember, not diagonally across the whole thing.

that bolt adjusts the toe not the camber
