if you do it like this you wont have any marks in your headlight at all. you push with one hand and a flathead screwdriver and pull with the other and it seperates. here are the pics some of you wanted to see how to do this. there is a tab on the side of the headlight where you hold. make sure the headlight is ready to seperate nice and hot be care also.

I preheated the oven to 300 and let the headlights sit for 10 min with the oven off. Any longer and the temp will drop too far, and make it harder to open the lights.

no wonder it was hard to pry mine apart.. i left it in 15 minutes hoping it would get even softer. once i got it apart.. i had to cut the strands of glue with a butter knife.

Thanks.. I haven't see it....
Just wonder, I haven't research enough about the seperating headlight..

Does it leave any odor in the oven?? permanent or temporary??

Nope. Stick it in on a towel so it doesnt melt on the grill. BUT TAKE THE TOWEL OUT when you reheat the oven or u will singe the towel like I did. LOL
