I have been searching for the best price for the TRD spring/strut package (not the sportivo) and the dealer told me I need that package and shocks.... I thought we had Struts all the way around? Who is right here? So my question is will buying the TRD spring/strut set be all that I need for my suspension needs?

You do not necessarily need aftermarket struts but after a while your stock struts will start giving out and the ride will not be as good so it helps to save on install cost. You do realize that the KYB GR-2 struts are the exact same as the TRD struts? If you are going for the warranty fine. But if you want to save money get the kyb gr2's off ebay. You might want to get sway bars to improve handling the most (not needed for spring/struts).

Yeah I know I don't need aftermarket but mine are pretty much done due to the fact that I had sportlines but now have teins and now I want TRD becuz s-techs are a little too low for me and i want a little better ride quality. What do you mean by the last sentence? I don't need sways if i get the TRD spring/strut set? wouldn't it improve it even more? So I will be good to go if i buy the trd spring/strut set right?

Sways will make a bigger improvement than springs/struts.

Get the Eibach Pro Kit and KYB GR-2 springs instead of their TRD counterparts. They're basically the same thing as the TRD springs/struts (Eibach makes TRD springs, TRD struts are rebadged GR-2s), but cheaper.
