Hey guys, i just got my car back to running order, and went and installed the PFC. The only problem is that the computer has been sitting in my house with the MWR basemap for about 5 months now. Do you think that the computer has lost all the memory that MWR put on it? And BTW, i keep looking at the knock level and what should it be at? I keep getting a reading around 4-5, but this morning it went up to 12, so i am freakin out about it cuz i think its kinda acting weird now, so i plan on taking it out to see if the stock ecu corrects it. What are your opinions? Oh and to let you know how long i have had it in, its been less than a day so not long at all.

the knock readings sound ok to me. Please elaborate on how the car is acting weird. The PFC doesnt lose memory unless it has been initialized.

Ok, well....im not sure. I think its ok, i was freakin out this morning cuz i came into work and it was kinda studdery at low rpms but i think its cool. What is the knock level then for? i see the graph looks like a straight line low on the scale, and the bar doesnt seem to go past like 1/4 in. up.

most likley because the MWR maps runs very rich. When running rich the idle may become unstable. You need to re-scale the knock level graph so it is readable. I think I have mine set between 0-100.

Well, this might have a play in the game...my 02 sensor is bad. I probably should replace, what do you think? It was giving me the same problem with stuttering, but less dramatic.

Hey guys, i have another question. I noticed my knock level shot up to 38 today when i hit lift in 2nd gear. Is that ok, or due to poor numbers on the map, and that i need to seriously look into getting a tune on the pfc.
