I want one.. which one should I get..
I want the low end from the supercharger.. but then my friend has one on his eclipse, and said not to get it because our engines aren't made for that kind of power.. and that all I will have are problem.
Please leave ur opinion and hopefully this will push me one way or the other.

That's what I was thinking... the sound of "pufshhhhhh" lol then I would need to get a new liscence plate ;)
I'm just torn between the two.

or you can just go crazy with show stuff for the same price and make your car look good.
are 14's really worth it?

See that's the problem.. I just don't know. I was hoping of people pushing me one way or the other with pros/cons... so I could make my decision.

For us (GT-S's) 12's would be worth it... :naughty:

exactly chris...
i just dont see a big difference in turboing(is that a word) a auto gt...
12's would definetly be worth it. low or mid 13's would be worth it.
but in her case i just think she should make her car a crazy show car:(

I got to agree with Eli, the money for a FI system wouldn't be worth it. It worth be cheaper if you get a used GTS 6speed and learn how to drive like Maelfyn.

I don't want a GTS, I want to stick with my car. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff for her before I got my tax returns.. and now that I have a WHOLE lot more money... I was thinking turbo or super charger.. hmm... maybe i'll just go with new interior.
I was told that you have an engine life of about 50K miles W/ a turbo.. is this true?

It depends on how many lbs of boost you're running and can the engine handle it. With a 1ZZ-GE engine, this is still uncharted territory so no one really knows how many lbs of boost it can handle and for how long. With a conservative amt. of boost like 6-8lbs, the engine should last longer than 50K miles. That's how many lbs of boost the TRD S/C's are producing and they don't seem to have an adverse effect on engine longevity. I would guess a turbo running the same amt. of boost would have the same effect on engine longevity.
