Bomex Side Mirrors

I just got some used bomex side mirrors and am stuck on the install. Am I supposed to take off the rubber pad between the mirrir and the glass? Also am I supposed to cut the wires from the stock mirror or is there a plug?

Use the rubber pads from your stock mirrors. As for the wiring, I dont know. Japanese people did my install since I cant read the manual..

So they left the rubber padding on there? Also do you know how they wired it? I was trying to figure it out yesterday and I ended up with 3 stock wires and 4 wires from the bomex mirror. I connected the red to purple and blue to purple and the two white wires to the brown.... Now I can move the mirror but when I push down it goes up and vice versa...

I wish I could help you with the wiring but I dont have the mirrors no more.

IF you push down then it goes up just switch the wiring.

Justin how did you take the stock mirrors off then? Did you leave the rubber cover on or off?
