Just a question on the Hypermotive bar regarding the design of it. I have the TRD 3pt bar and they have a pretty simlar desgin. However, the best selling point of the HM bar is the easy detatchable for trunk space.
Now, the design of the HM bar is to extend the connecting point. The center has supporting bars in the middle to stiffen the bar and the middle part is very strong no doubt about that. But by extending the connecting point with a plate, that will increase the stress on those two extended plates and therefore making the stress point the each end of those two plates where it used to be a little stronger with the TRD bar when the bar is all the way to the connection point, not at the extention plate.
Wouldnt that make the bar less stronger than it was (TRD) ?
I hope I am making sense
